Pilgrim Supper Dining Event
We begin our commemoration of the sailing of the Mayflower & Speedwell from Southampton in August 1620 with a pilgrim supper, with a flavour of traditional ‘Thanksgiving’. When the Pilgrim Fathers were in Southampton, God’s House Tower was the headquarters of the town gunners and our supper takes place in the medieval long gallery, which once housed the guns Thomas with the Beard and Maid Meg.
As well as a delicious meal in historic surroundings there will be entertainment and a chance to enjoy the permanent and temporary exhibitions and view the scale model of the town in 1620. Weather permitting you can also ascend to the roof of the tower to enjoy a spectacular view over the town of Southampton.
Feel free to join the fun by coming in suitable costume!
